Got super challenged during Sunday Church Service. Burt preached..

Life is Not a Game, There are Rules

point #o1: Your Body is a Temple

There’s both right and wrong way to love ourselves.

  • sexual immorality. giving in to pleasure? “as long as it feels good, i’d do it” ????

  • bad conducts.

  • eat right. too indulge in junks/snacks?

Always be on guard of Satan’s scheme. We should protect our body from being defile.
So, do we cherish, respect our body which God had given us?

1 Corinthians 6:18-20
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

point #o2: Learn Your Lessons

Every stage of life has different presentation of challenges. Just by running away, avoiding the challenges will not help. We need to have courage to deny ourselves. To some point, sacrifice.

Christians, be discipline in prayer & reading the Bible.

We need to face up the biggest demon in ourself. Therefore many doesn’t like to read the Bible.

No one can prepare your heart for you. If we are not prepared, we couldn’t go in facing the second coming, what are those consequences?

God wants us all to make it one way, approaching God with confidence & joy. Anything that stop us from going to God is definitely worrying too much. Are we inversting our time to prepare ourselves for that day?

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

There’s consequences in life, it’s not a game.
